The collar sets the look, and it is the first choice to make: small French collar, round collar, straight collar, French collar, Italian collar, English collar, Monte-Carlo, Neapolitan, button-down, wing collar. The collar stand runs from 31 to 38 mm and the point from 55 to 85 mm depending on the model.
Then come the cuff, offered in some ten designs from 55 to 80 mm high, and the front placket, visible or concealed, of 25 or 35 mm. For evening dress there are also the pleated bib and the four-stud placket of tailcoat shirts.
The rest is settled at the appointment in store: ease, sleeve length, button placement.
