The jacket on its own, cut to your measurements in one of the six Dormeuil cloths of the collaboration: three solids — grey, blue, green —, a blue stripe, a blue glen check, a brown and beige Prince of Wales. The same three designs as on the suit are offered: double-breasted with peak lapels, single-breasted with peak lapels, single-breasted with notch lapels.
Worn as an odd jacket, a jacket lives above all by its construction. Three are possible: fused, which gives the cloth added firmness and a clean drape; half-canvassed, which adds a natural canvas chest piece over the upper half of the front and lets the chest roll more naturally; and fully canvassed, where the front is supported only by a horsehair and wool canvas hand-stitched to the cloth, for greater softness and a longer life.
Straight, slanted or jetted pockets, ticket pocket, standard or hand-made Milanese lapel buttonhole, lining and monogram are all chosen in store, at your appointment.
